One of the best ways to get good ideas is to see how it's already been done. If you have photos and/or stories of your Church Ministers Anniversary, Pastor Appreciation, or Pastor Anniversary celebrations you'd like to share, I invite you to register and post it in the forum. Speaking of the forum, I've added a great new section, called The Pastor Pedestal, where you can write about a selfless act performed by your Pastor; either for you, your family or someone close to you. Ms. Tiffany Este of Columbia, SC contacted me with a very touching story about Pastor Joe Parker of the Mount Olive Baptist Church, also in Columbia, SC - a must read!
Tracey Stone of Donna Jackson Ministries sent me an email recently about a great new song that's being played on Southern Gospel Radio across the nation. It's called "Pastor's Song", written and performed by Donna Jackson. I've transcribed the lyrics from her video for you, so you can read them while you listen and watch her perform on stage. While we celebrate our Pastors, there's another person we often forget. Our Pastor's Wife. I've created a page dedicated to our Pastor's Wife where you can find many different ways to show her your appreciation for what she does, and the sacrifices she makes to support her husband.
